Changing Themes
You can use the Administration: Look and Feel page to configure the default theme for your Tiki.
- From the Control Panel page, click Look & Feel.

you can also access the Administration: Look & Feel page by clicking the Theme button in the Quick Admin area. - Click the Theme tab.
- Use the Theme list to select the default theme for your Tiki and click Go.
Some themes include an additional Theme Options field that you can use to modify the base theme. For example, if you select Fivealive, additional options appear that allow you to select a different theme for different sections:
Other common theme options include:- Fixed width: If this is enabled, Tiki maintains a "fixed" (pre-set) width for the site, approximately 1,000 pixels wide.
- Each group can have its own theme: If this is enabled, you can select a unique theme for members of specific groups.
- Click Apply. Tiki saves the information and reloads the page, with the new theme.
Note
You may have to clear your browser's cache to display the new theme.

Tip
In addition to selecting an overall, default theme for your Tiki, you can let users choose their own theme. Enable the Reg. users can change theme option on the Administration: Login page.
Warning
Some themes may not be compatible with your Tiki version. Review the Tiki release notes and Theme-specific readme files for details.
Using the Switch Theme Module
Tiki includes a Switch Theme module that lets users switch to different themes on-the-fly.
You must enable the Users can change theme option on the Admin: Look and Feel page to allow users to switch the theme.
You can also specify specific themes to allow users to select.
