Using Content Templates
Now that you have a wiki template, you can create a new page that uses the template.
Note
Remember to add the necessary permission (in this case, tiki_p_use_content_templates to any group that you want to be able to use content templates.
- Create a new wiki page. You already learned how, remember?
- On the Edit page, click the Tools tab.
- On the Tools tab, use the Apply template drop-down list to select the template you created.
No image specified. One of the following parameters must be set: fileId, randomGalleryId, fgalId, attId, id, or src.
Tiki reloads the page, adding the template. - Click the Edit tab.
No image specified. One of the following parameters must be set: fileId, randomGalleryId, fgalId, attId, id, or src. - Add your text to the page, then click Save. Tiki saves the page.
Note
You can also apply templates to existing wiki pages. Tiki will simply add the template content to the top of the page.
